Nina and Alvin

Let me introduce you to Nina and Alvin. Nina, who is 77, and Alvin, who is 87, have been married for 57 years. I have known them for 56 of them.
Nina and Alvin are not their real names, but when I told them I was going to write a few stories about them, they requested aliases.
